My first time in Oakland, I was not disappointed by the food. I am not a big fan of orange juice, so I was slightly confused when my crepe came in a small amount of orange juice, which was actually delicious. The food was odd, but a great experience never the less. I would recommend for tourists and locals alike.

I love Eggs Florentine and this was the best I've ever eaten. The eggs were poached perfectly. The Hollandaise was fresh, creamy, and balanced instead of the over-egged, heavy, vinegary gooey sauce that's so usual. The kale was warm, fresh and flavorful but was properly blanched before serving. The thin-sliced French bread was lightly grilled. The baby potatoes were roasted with fresh garlic. The service was friendly and professional. If you live near this restaurant you're lucky and should go there often.
